Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of HTMLmenu, the free online navigation-menu builder available at htmlmenu.com ("the Service", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
HTMLmenu lets you visually design responsive navigation menus and copy the resulting HTML and CSS. It runs entirely in your browser. The Service is provided free of charge and may be changed, limited or discontinued at any time without notice.
2. No accounts and no database
There is no login, registration or user account, and we do not operate a database. We do not store the menus or settings you create; they are kept only in your own browser's local storage. You are responsible for copying or downloading any code you wish to keep.
3. Your generated code
The HTML and CSS that the Service generates for you are yours to use freely, including in personal and commercial websites, with no attribution required. You are responsible for how you use that code and for ensuring it meets your own requirements.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or overload it, probe or breach its security, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Because the Service is client-side, you use it on your own device and at your own discretion.
5. Intellectual property
The HTMLmenu name, website, design and underlying builder software are owned by us and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our branding or to the builder's own source, beyond using the Service and the menu code it produces for you as described above.
6. Third-party services and advertising
The Service relies on third-party providers including a web hosting provider and Cloudflare (content delivery and security), and Google Analytics (aggregate usage statistics) might be installed. We do not currently display advertising, but we may add third-party ads in the future. Your use of the site is also subject to those providers' terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on the data they process.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service and all generated code are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the generated code will be suitable for your specific use.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of - or inability to use - the Service or the code it generates. The Service is free, and you use it at your own risk.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
